MY REASONS TO BE A "FREELANCING MOM"

If you are a working mom, struggling and still commuting to work and don't have enough time with your family, it’s now the time to consider working from home. When it comes to childcare, a home-office setup is more effective than working in the office.

1. QUALITY TIME WITH MY DAUGHTER

I started the home office setup during this pandemic (but will soon go back to the office). What I like more about it is, as a work from home mom, you will get enough time taking care of your child and you will be able to take part in her daily routines. You can check on her from time to time even if someone is taking care of her needs while you are working. But the good thing about it is, you know what is going on with your child daily.

2. SAVE TIME AND MONEY ON NOT COMMUTING GOING TO WORK

Traveling going to work takes too much of your time already. Aside from spending transportation fees, you are getting stressed out dealing with heavy traffic, especially during peak hours. And you will have to get to work on time. I managed to go to work on time though but I had to leave early so I can't be late. With this, you lose the time that you should be with your child if you are not working at home.

3. FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS

Working at home provides flexibility when it comes to working hours. If you get to choose the client that is more suitable for your preferred time of work, you can do more out of it. You will be able to complete errands and other household chores. You can get your child to bed during night time and you’re not gonna be missing much of the time, especially for your child.

There are a lot of reasons why you should be working at home. Those are just the main reasons for me as a mom but you may have other reasons apart from mentioned above. It could be not because of your family but because of personal reasons maybe. If working from home can give you a lot of opportunities to achieve more than working in the office, and if it gives you satisfaction than getting a title working in the office as long as you choose what you want and why you want to do it, THEN DO IT!
